Bird Convention

So many feathered friends,
in the tree tops this cool
morning, wrens, sparrows, robins,
and red winged blackbirds.

They have all gathered
here to protest what
man has done to
     Lowell ponds.

Trash and fireworks debris
everywhere you look, fireworks
oh so loud, really bothers them,
nature here should have peace.

How would someone feel,
if people used their yard
for a place to depose
of their trash.

So very true, they should ban fireworks except for organised shows. Had a torrid time with my dog on the 4th of July. Well written and a timely message. Regards Heidie
