Bird

You moved too fast not breaking for him
,
You are strong.

though times earlier in his haven ,
your lights were on
,
but later on
,
you breezed past his dark alleys
,
Not gleaming for him
.
Jumping puddles, getting stained,
Not learning from him.
Getting maimed, losing heart,
everything!, Not dying for him.
You are strong
.

You plunged in like a seagull
,
With arms wrapped around him drowning ,
till moving cars appeared to be at halt.
but it’s not red to be you,
Though you were amber to trust
.
But It’s not red to see green first ,
before falling hard to love’s concrete floor
.
you are strong
.

It’s not white to be him.
It’s not purple to be her
.
You know he ain’t God
You know it’s not entirely your fault
.
He let you go, cos he doesn’t know
That a bird, free from its cage, can fly
.
you are strength
.
