Bi-Polar Lovers

Men meet
And greet.

Friends wait
Then, date

Tough boys
Share toys.

Cute Girls
Wear pearls

They walk
And talk.

Love bursts
At first

The hitch --
Mood switch

He tries
She sighs

Words heat
Not Sweet

Trifles
Stifle

Hearts scream
No gleam.

Dreams die
Good bye.

Bad blend
The end

It is a fun form. I did have one couplet that reversed the rhythm pattern. I thought it appropriate for the reverse in mood swings that can really effect relationships that bi-polar people live with. I still called the poem a footle. What do you think?
