Bipolar and you part 2

Everyday is intensified
The mind becomes more terrified
Mild paranoia exposes itself
Becoming unsure of oneself

Time has little meaning
Every thought has extra screening
Day and night drag so slow
Every time amazed at being so low

The fear of your own thoughts
Makes you want to feel only naughts
A head through the wall
Or simply have a fall

The thoughts inside feel darker
Making clear thoughts much harder
The entire body is strained
Then comes the feeling of shame

The shadow that lives beside you
Who is constantly getting through
It’s overwhelming to silence them
Impossible to condemn

Keeping you awake at night
No silence or fright
He becomes your devilish friend
No good thing to intend

The cycle has begun
Some actions cannot be undone
You’ve reached out for support
Not much can be done today as you report

Tomorrow is when help will come
To save you from what you can become
You just have to hang on one more day
Don’t let him lead you astray

I know what’s coming
And I know what you are becoming
Your mind doesn’t define you
It’s a temporary lapse not a permanent screw

This episode is nothing new
The recovery is opportunity to renew
The reason for this is agree beyond control
But this is not you as a whole

I know you are scared
Anxious and impaired
But right now you must stay safe and sound
It’s not forever you’ll feel drowned

I’m proud of you for hanging on
It won’t be long until you bloom like a swan
Majestic and proud of yourself
That this is just a hiccup in your health
