Billy and Me
I have a plant growing in my yard
It always keeps me on my guard
I planted it outside my door
Now I don't go out anymore.
It started small but it grew fast
Soon a shadow it would cast.
I with held water, pruned it back
But its rapid growing wouldn't slack.
I just decided to pull it out
When I heard it wail and shout
"Oh, no, you dare not mess with me
Or my next meal you will be."
I am frightened and scared silly
To make amends I named it Billy
Billy and I get along all right
It grows six inches every night
So that's my tale, I swear its true
I'd never, ever lie to you
To grow your plants you must have stealth
Gardening can be hazardous to your health
