Debbie Duncan Poet Dramatic Monologue

Billing Department

I want to reach 
through the phone
And choke you

Though I know 
I  cannot 

You talk to me 
Like I'm old 
And senile

Because of my age 
You say I must 
Not remember 

I must be mistaken
 I must have sent 
something back 
And forgot 

Because I'm being 
charged for something
I say I do not have

It's like talking 
to the wall 
when I'm talking 
To someone like you
 
You people think 
You are God 
But I know you are not!

Duke Beaufort March 26, 2017 at 2:14 PM It is better when we are listened to. Life would not be as bad if they could explain something clearly and give the information to us that is accurate. Unfortunately, they are paid to get the money and never to forgive.

They were charging me for it, and all the while they knew it was store bought, put me on hold. then came back said I forgot. I finally got refund. Thank you for reading my words !
