Bike ride
Have almost everything I need but a trailer and a electric bike
Tired of having to hike
This spring I wish to travel around state to state
Missing my family of late
So head east towards home
My body is getting tired of constantly having to roam
I am getting old
Nights are getting so cold
Take me awhile
Hope to smile
But in no rush to get there
If I make it I do not care
To be fair
Just want to go
So you know
Wind up generator to charge
It is not that large
Keeping my load at two hundred pound range
I will look strange
Hauling my dog in a trailer behind
She gives me peace of mind
Camping at the end of each day
Along the way
Maybe sometimes an extend my stay
Maybe take a couple years
No fears
Write about what I see
Camping by a tree
May write another book
If anyone cares to have a look
Photos to show what I see
The beauty that be
Just need the bike and trailer, saving for that
Maybe I will see a place I like
No more desire to hike
Crossing the country on my bike
Can live off the land on my way
Make it a little further each day
I can write
At night
With my light
Been working on gathering what I need
The bike will be my steed
As I make my way home
So many years
I am over my fears
Tears
I was young last time I was there
Wondering if any of them still care
This I need to do
True
Wasting away
Nowhere I want to stay
But it is time to settle down
Be a clown
My heart is bad
Do not be sad
I have had an amazing life
Even with all the strife
One last trip make it or not
Better than sitting here letting my body rot
Melt when it is hot
Freeze when cold
I wish to see my family once more
Before I soar
Been so long
Am I wrong
Wish I had a car
To go that far
Maybe the bike will be fun
Be in shape when I am done
