Big Wings
She sat beside the lake
On a little hump on the bank
Unable to climb anymore
Even the tiniest obstacles
Couldn't go on anymore
Saddened
Down
On a slope like her life itself
The darkest night had befallen her
Yet the beautiful skies were alive
The small stars glowed into bigger stars
Twinkling
Sparkling the waters below
Reflections ablaze
Hope, hope, hope
Up, up, up
White wings of brightness
Fell light to her
Heaviness
She felt it in her heart
She knew it in her mind
She could fly further than her pain
