Big Waves

Big waves

the waves came in, went out
when the rocking abated
her heartbeat came back to normal
soon,too, the glistening sun receded

seashells and seaweed came, and went ashore
but it was the big waves that came in, and went out
starting as a ripple and curling
at the end, crashing, that made her shout

A lovely description of the sea, Connie. If it's for the Beyond the Breakers contest, I wish you success.
