Big Tease

Spring in Chicago is quite a big tease: Warms up for a minute; says "Pretty please"--- Wind shifts to the north Cold and snow are brought forth--- Now there's frostbite on the back of your knees.

Thanks FRJ. You give me strength to go in the face of the Hawk, who returned late this afternoon after his cousin took us up to 72 degrees Fahrenheit---we'll be in the 30's for a high soon enough...And so it goes...Peace be with you, my friend! :)

Oh, Maureen. That's terrible! I can only hope that the 'someone' was completely wrong. Failing that, I hope that it warms up immediately afterward and melts the snow within 12 hours. Failing that---NO! The alternative is too grim to contemplate...Compared to where you are, Chicago is only a little tease, I guess. Hang in there, Maureen!! :)

Great! I hope it stays warm there all Spring and Summer...As for us lucky ducks who live in the Midwestern USA, specifically Chicago: This morning it'll get close to 70 degrees Fahrenheit; by late afternoon it'll have plunged 25 degrees, accompanied by a chill wind.
