Big John Wayne

Big John Wayne

He stands out like a leader
As he walks on down the street
He gets into so many fights
But never will be beat

Kick him and punch him
And he will take the pain
He will win out in the end
My hero, Big John Wayne

The fastest with a pistol
With a rifle there’s none better
Where he has a lady friend
Then it’s best to not upset her

He’ll ride the wild stallion
And he will make it tame
All along the Rio Grande
My hero, Big John Wayne

If you are a bad guy
Then you’d better leave his town
Never try the double cross
Cos he will hunt you down

He has got the brawn to fight
And he’s also got the brain
That’s why he never loses
My hero, Big John Wayne

What a fun read, Robert. John Wayne has always been a hero for me. From the days of black and white right up until The Shootist. I was very sad when I found out he had passed away. I still to this day watch him every chance I get. He was a man's man. A real life gentleman too. I once wrote a poem on the movie "Quiet Man" Great stuff!!!
