Big Goverment

Big Goverment

When you’re pushed, you must push back,
When the noose loosens, pull tight the slack.
When you fail, get right back up,
When you’re thirsty, fill your cup.
Be a bully with what you own,
Don’t stand for how governments grown.
Protect your country from sinful debt,
Your children’s future is not a bet.
A drowning race we’ve become,
Forgetting the morales we started from.
~
Which side of the fence will you choose to stand?
For or against governments heavy hand.
It’s not too late to start a new,
If we believe in the things we know are true.
Words without action, the cause is dead,
Like an ostrich with a buried head.
Get up, wake up, and take a stand,
Our children’s future is in our hands.
