big dog and baby brother dog

Big dog settles at my feet
his teeth are showing
tongue is hanging out
he is panting
delivery men are terrified of him
I know what a sweet natured being he is
he allows roughhousing I would never allow
by his new golden retriever baby brother
they are play bite-fighting now
I take myself out of the middle of it
At seventy-two if I go down, I might break a hip
