The sounds of the orchestra filled the room Ballgowns and tuxedos graced the dance floor, and in one corner, an elite group of gentlemen mingled over scotch In the early days, he treated her like royalty Posh dinner parties and fancy galas Always the steady beauty on his arm He had no intention of loving her She was just for show But soon, all of the pieces began to fit Late nights at the office Endless executive meetings His 'misplaced' his phone He had been playing her all along Yes.
