Big boys toys

Horizons blurred, goalposts shifted The genie granted three wishes Yet our heart aimlessly drifted Weary at doing the dishes Hall of mirrors made heart shiver Horizons blurred, goalposts shifted Soul thanked not God, Who’s the giver Till erst dark desires were sifted With veil of delusion lifted Though soul was free, ego was bound Horizons blurred, goalposts shifted In silence, peace within was found We let lust die that soul may fly Bliss bestowed, we’re truly gifted Why’d we regret moments gone by Horizons blurred, goalposts shifted
