Ah, this is wisely written and eagerly pondered.

If you listen to the raven sing, you are into 'raw sound.' ~ Ears Plugged, lol

I must be. Though, to their credit, their vocalizations are far more melodious than those of the crows. Warm hugs my friend, I hope you are well. xomo

Not many ravens around my house but plenty of magpies super Mo, noisy shower of, but I’ve witnessed some great fights between warring clans, had to clean a few off my driveway, no holds barred when they get going, but I digress, love your poem cheers David

Them’s beautiful corvids! Alas, none on this side of the country. Birds can be vicious! I had finches, two males were going at it as I fixed up another cage to separate them, my buddy says “they’ll work it out” (we both owned dogs) I said no man, birds will go to the death. thank you! xomo

It takes a wonderful imagination to consider raven noise as singing, but what else could it be? Aloha! Rico

You got me. It’s the cooing tender croaks between mated pairs that sends me. RSD my friend, xomo!

They seem to be fateful signs (shades of Poe's The Raven here also!)

Maybe because I didn’t grow up with them they move me so much; they had been extirpated in my area, maybe too, I go for brains before looks lol xomo!

Good morning, mo. Their caw is a sound that rattles my nerves. They are such raucous attention getters.

More crows than ravens where I live, the crows get that that distinction, their usual raucous is pestering ravens lol
