Notes About The Poem

Tega Cay SC in the USA has hired sharp shooters with silencers to protect their greenery from wild deer. Hundreds have overgrown the fields and are eating grass from yards. They are beautiful but doomed because they also eat the golf course 2024.

Big bang

Tega Cay deers stray
Green grass on golf course won’t last
Sharp shooters silencer blast

We had an overpopulation of deer in Helena, MT. The city hired bow hunters to thin them out. All the meat was donated to the shelters and food banks.

Still sad but at least something positive came out of it.

Karen, unfortunately, that deer's blood is not considered worth more than golf course greenery. Conspicuously sobbing,

What a shame, could they not put up fences Tom

The deer roam freely as they are wild. Fences would not work as property lines are too various between the neighbors and the golf courses

What information shared in this one. The deer will overflow an area if they have plenty of food to eat. Hunting helps to thin herds. It is a painful feeling to think that they are shot just for thinning, and no one eats the meat. Sara K

The problem is the neighbors value their yard grass lawns and golf courses over the animals sadly. I don’t know what happens to the meat.

Since I'm crap at golf, I would shoot the golfers.

I lol at that Paul. The animals are beautiful and not scared of humans unfortunately.
