Bible Story

My granddaughter
at a young age
called me Noa,
a little bit missing
the mark, but
she found
the L in the nick
of time before
I had to build
an ark.

Your poem reminded me of a family story. My mother's aunt's first grandaughter tried to say 'grandma', but it came out 'Mung'. I think her family called her Mung until she passed.
