Beyond the Rainbow's End
When puppy love nipped at our heels
How we had fun when luv was young
We were yet to know just how love feels
How much it would hurt when heartache stung
Years passed by, we went our ways
Then I met her not long ago
We reminisced on bygone days
Spoke of life, and things, you know
We said goodbye with warm embrace
With longing looks as old friends do
Some other time some other place
We'd shoot the breeze, dinner, a brew?
There's a pot of gold in an old friend
Which you'll find beyond the rainbow's end
