Beyond the Known

Mystics see
         what most 
    cannot see
They taste a reality 
beyond the known 
   The illusion of 
being 
     is something they 
can penetrate
   with their eyes 
      fixed 
     on 
     the 
  ultimate 
The city is glowing tonight 
     Urban shamans 
will do their work 
   and one can take 
comfort in the fact 
   that there are 
forces
     in this garden universe 
which are guarding us 
    As we chant 
softly 
     we can share the 
visions 
        which populate  
the unseen world 
     behind the sun
