Beyond Reach
I could not for a moment, even if I wanted to.
I could never fly like a butterfly out back.
Or zip through raindrops like bubbles of joy.
But I could follow the lights sparkling for me,
lighting the pathways as I go skipping free form.
The multicolored rainbow always lights up my day,
like the energizer, firing up my entire being.
Notwithstanding, regardless of how I may feel,
how well I might hear or see, or how far or near
my destiny may be, nor yet how seemingly unreachable
it may appear. If I never make the first step forward,
believing the plan and purpose God has chosen for me,
it is indeed an obstacle course. And without a doubt,
it is beyond reach.
