Beyond Ours

Our person; our weapon
Our love; our hope
Our partner; our friend
Our home; our sanctity.
Our garden wall; our security.
Our family: our identity.
Our children; our future.
Our culture: our guideline.
Our religion; our belonging.
Our country; our pride

What is beyond this invisible wall around?
A world to know, understand and respect.
A choice;
the goldfish in a small glass aquarium, in the ocean
Or the fish in the vastness and depth of the ocean?

Hello Sunita, A very interesting Didactic here for sure. I really like questions you pose at the end. The fish in the vastness and depth of the ocean would be my choice. (This is probably the scary choice.) Enjoyed this one!! Cheers and Best, Gary

Your choice does not surprise me. of course an enlightened person ventures... and dares. Somebody said to me "if one says bad things about your identity (whatever) and you get angry on the point of destroying then you have yet to grow up and grow above it. Thanks for enlightening me with your most reflective comment friend. All the best. :) Sunita
