Beyond Fleeting Emotions
When feelings fade like morning dew,
Values remain, forever true.
For love's not just a feeling's sway,
But choice and commitment each new day.
Emotions rise and fall like tides,
Yet values anchor hearts inside.
Through life's storms, they stand as guides,
Unshaken, steadfast, side by side.
Cultivate love's enduring seed,
Nurture kindness, compassion's creed.
For when emotions ebb and flow,
Values remain, forever aglow.
Choose to honor, cherish and adore,
Not just in feeling, but forever more.
For the right one, heart and soul align,
Values and love entwined, divine.
So let compassion, trust and respect lead,
And love's foundation will forever proceed.
