Perhaps. . .

Perfectly Placed

Poetry, precisely planned,

~ Willfully washes Worldly Worries ~

This time though, thoughts Tumble

Beyond Boundaries of life’s Beautiful Balance

* * I am Unable to truly Understand * *

(Your Health and the Heartache)

- Fighting those Fearful feelings -

Hopeful and Helpless

Weathered, Wondering

. . . Why

Your poem deeply captures the emotional turmoil of your brother’s illness, with “Thoughts Tumble Beyond Boundaries of life’s Beautiful Balance” vividly portraying the upheaval. The feelings of being “Unable to truly Understand” and swinging between “Hopeful and Helpless” resonate deeply. Yet, amidst the pain, there is resilience and love. Hold onto that hope; your empathy and care are powerful forces. Your reflection offers solace and reminds us that even in darkness, hope and love can guide us through.

Thank you, Edward. This statement holds truth. ' you never know what someone is going through, until you walk in their shoes. ' In this situation, I'm unable to understand and I sometimes feel helpless, but I'm always hopeful. A positive outlook helps me get through trying times. I know things may not go as planned, but keeping eyes upward, certainly helps. Your kind words curl softly around me and my heart. Thank you for being here, for being you. Hugs, Brandy

Your compassion is admirable, Brandy. You've found a way to put into words, the confusion of being hopeful and helpless at the same time. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and encouraging those in this state of mind and emotions. Bless you and your lovely poetry, my friend. A poet friend in Texas, Bill

Hi Brandy, I came back to this one today as one of many of your poems in my Favs... we are going through a season with my mother-in-law where she is "Beyond Boundaries of life’s Beautiful Balance". Many are the questions of what the future holds. I hope things are well with your brother; he is lucky to have a caring sister such as yourself. God bless you on this Palm Sunday and throughout holy week. Hugs ~ John

"Why?" is a question so often asked when we find it hard to comprehend certain things, and especially when no answers seem available. Your poem reflects the anguish and helplessness that you feel...and having read your comments below I can understand what you are passing through. Yes...life seems to be unfair, in so many ways, but we need to have faith and never give up. ~ Take care, Brandy. Hugs // paul

Yes, that small word creates a big ripple. *Why?* When the answers are not in front of us. My heart has felt many emotions lately, more than I wanted. Life is filled with different moments and moods. Facing them with a tender outlook certainly helps. "Beyond" it all, I am still looking upward and forward. Thank you, Paul. Your thoughts touch my heart. My best to you. Hugs, Brandy

I am sure those are some horrible feelings going on inside a person. There is always hope and a person can always do something. It reads as if he is suffering from depression that should get some attention from a professional. Your visits to my page are uplifting. Sara

My brother isn't suffering from depression. I am unable to understand his health issues and the heartache, because he was born with Spina Bifida. His struggles weigh heavy on my heart at times. Thank you, Sara. Your thoughts are appreciated. My best to you. ~ Brandy

I think you have captured something universal here, Brandy. It feels impossible to turn off the fearful feelings when there is pain and/or an uncertain future. But to let someone know they are not alone in their anxiety is a beautiful aspect that poetry can provide, that hope still exists, and that we are there for them. I love your alliterative phrasing and the words "Hopeful and Helpless". Beautiful writing my friend. Hugs ~ John

I can identify with the helpless and hope living in tension with each other. I think it’s the shadows that make poetry and life more interesting. Show me a blue sky and I will seek out a cloud, show me a stormy sky and I will search for a rainbow. Blessings and a hug, Rick.

Hi David, both words *Emotions* are able to caress the heart at the same time. Life is filled with moments that are out of our control, yet those that we can control- sometimes leave us feeling lost. Thank you, my dear friend, for your kind thoughts. My best to you. ~ Brandy

Wonderful interplay of words, Brandy. You convey so well-- how one feels when someone close --may need a shoulder to lean on. So true about life' balance my friend--we don't feel well when its harmony is disturbed.

Thank you, Vijay. I have been emotional and a shoulder to lean upon, all at the same time. When the scale is uneven, moments will always be off-balanced in some way. One must learn to adapt, but sometimes, that isn't easy. You and your thoughts are appreciated. Many wonderful blessings to you. ~ Brandy
