Beyond Belief

Have you ever felt a presence, in the shadows beyond the light?
Maybe a last impression, from a dark and lonely night.

A glimpse of the unexplained, in this world of ebb and flow.
Possibly a message sent, from another lost long ago.

Could there be some plane of existence, different from what we can see
A place our dead must traverse, sometimes felt by you and me.

Does our time here on this earth, end with our final breath?
Maybe there’s one last journey, in that hour beyond our death.

To feel the presence of a loved one in a wisp of air. Beautiful.
