Beware

Thinking of the mess that "mess" Mess with unmessed messers; My soul breed lividity. Skirts no longer have its hold As trousers lust after them like desperate achievers. Through the streets of Lagos, They hawk their messy chips Leaving the road to a puzzle: "who is pedestrian"? Lord please forgive them for They know what they do. Thinking of what sin has done To men of sin that has refused To leave the pin of sin And cleave to the fountain of living; My kidneys pant for pity: For hell is but a den And well of helly imps in helly grins Furry hopes and sights and pot belly demons. I be not a preacher But I preach to you today: Beware of the kingdom of mess And still I pray Lord please forgive them For they know what they do.
