Beware

Oh he will taunt you and he will haunt you
With his twist of word he will distort you
He’ll distress you and then caress you
with devil’s tongue he’ll want to bless you

Poison you with his wine glass of lies
You’ll drink until the bottle runs dry
You won’t resist nor recognise why
It’s futile to even try

He will abuse you and confuse you
I can guarantee he’ll never loose you

So what can you do ?

Just hope and pray he doesn’t choose you!

Btw ... I gave a shout out tribute to you in my poem posted today, El. It's titled, "Electric Coma." Hope you get a chance to stop by and read it. Love and more love always.

Such men do exist, and I pity anyone who suffers at their hands. Unfortunately love can be blind, and it might be too late before realization sets in! Your expressive poem is certainly an eyeopener, Elaine. Regards // paul

I do not come here as often, powerful poetry, narcissists are sometimes easy to spot and sometimes not, some very vocal, some very silent.

Addiction is a cruel master. The best way to overcome addiction is by being emotionally connected with family and friends. When we are isolated and feeling hopeless addiction gains his hold.

I can see where you got the connection with addiction from. In this case I was addicted to a violent narcissistic Man x
