Betweens
Between here and there lies a thousand steps
Between 1 & 2 lies uncountable fractions
Between you and I lies 7 billion people
Between love and hate lies a couple of other emotions
Between friends and more than friends lies a little more love...
I've lived on in my moment between
Hoping to never meet my end
But that's just me and my wishful thinking
If everyone else would learn to live
In between moments...
Loss wouldn't have a face of her own
