Between Earth and Ecstasy

Between Earth and Ecstasy
My soul, wrought from the dust of falling stars,
Has embraced the undisturbed illusions, resting not in halted slumber,
They levitate, and like the crescent moon blooming, dark stirrings grow within me,
I rend the heavens, calling you, your name has become the mantra of the spheres,
The sacred memory bows – a parchment through time, rippling with an eternal tremor,
Marble falls and mists dancing in ancestral rituals
Extracting from the depths a coldness that sways in unawareness and numbing oblivion.
With my last breath, I slide and I bare my soul,
You stumbled like a leaf at the end of its dance with the wind,
Even as you follow your determined path, you drive in ecstasy,
A disquieting abyss splits our paths in the drift of time,
And my voice finds no foothold, though it tries to speak,
The sound dissipates like a wave failing to find its shore,
And longing rises, a resonant pain in the depths of my throat.
The waters in the tranquil lake of me are restless, my thoughts are drowned,
With my feet rooted in the soil of my desires,
I hold fast to memories, the elbow of my soul slides,
On this theater of forgetfulness, into which the world collapses,
My character eternally carried in remembrance,
Inscribed in your translucent, fragmentary, and unfathomable palimpsest,
The shooting stars are the taste on the lips of extinguished time.
A moment of sparks, a journey in autumn colors,
The encroach of greed revealed the hidden sacredness between two flickers of eyelids,
You remain a distant and blurred fresco, an apparition vibrating in chorus,
Pain defies silence, and the prism of time makes a hasty flight,
In the twilight of the forgotten past, on the field of petty struggles,
Each faint line and each ash of dissipated emotion
Floats above us, like a sun that never sets but only renews itself,
So I say, you cannot stay, is this not an ode to despair?
A soul shattered by light,
Spirits that dance effervescently agile,
My body is a sheath of flint,
With a simple gesture, you peel back the layers of my being,
Like a spring finding its way through a stony field,
Truth longs to be passed from myth into legend,
My blindingly brief touch
Yet it leaves an impression that outlasts its time,
And on the horizon that stretches,
It widens, the shadows lengthen in the twilight,
And through the prism of your imagination,
I am flayed to the heart,
My voice cracks, my body jolts,
Unhinged in the unknown, at the gate of madness,
And my heart, forever agitated, with your love, eternally unfulfilled.
