Bettering Myself
Playing by the rules
Staying on track
Never looking back
Never regretting
Working hard
Staying focused
No drama
No bulshit
Met a man
During my journey
Trying to find myself
Instead found him
I fell in love
It went down like this
We met
We talked
I was intrigued
His laugh
His smile
His sense of humor
We spent some time
Laughing at the
Stupid nothings in life
We became comfortable
Able to be ourselves
I started breaking the rules
But this man
Who cares so much
Put me in check
We got caught once
We got caught twice
But he wont let me
Get caught again
He is home
I am here
Never stopping
Never quitting
Always trying
Bettering myself
Loving a man
