Better Than the Greatest Dream

Wow, this is so much different than the life I know.
I’m floating.
Watch me go.
I don’t see my body anymore.
I just see light.
I don’t understand how I….
It’s like…
How do I explain?

This is better than peace
Better than what we call love
The most love,
The best love
Where I’m from wouldnt be enough
Compared to what I’m feeling now
Wait.. is this love?
If not its better!

I see a man in white
Surrounded by the brightest light
He smile and says Hi
Welcome my child

In my heart, I knew who
No smile is better than his
No one made me feel more love
Not even close to this
He said ,go back and tell them so 
They would believe.

I told him how much I love him
And that I didn’t want to leave
I didn’t want to go back espacaily after what I
Been through
He said don’t worry my child,I love you. I will always
Be with you. I will never leave you.

I didn’t want to let go of his hand
As I started to go back, he kept saying
It’s ok…it’s ok…it’s ok..
I’m in the hospital
I finally awake
My family was cryin happy
Doctors were amazed

Just That Archaic Poet September 5, 2013 at 9:14 AM While I have never had a "medical" related out-of-body experience (only psychedelic lol), I have been on a gurney in an ER clinging to life more than once (overdoses). You told me you felt my poem; well, I definitely feel yours as well. I felt like I was right there with you; strong imagery and emotion pervasive throughout the piece. Great work! :)
