Notes About The Poem

Sometimews we tend to go through life trying to impress or seek the approval of someone we admire. We fail to see that we are already special in our own way and the only person we really have to impress is God, Himself. If He is happy with you, no one else matters that much.The Apostle Paul said, "If God be for us, who can stand against us."

So bearing this in mind, Keep On Truckin', You're already good enough.

BETTER THAN GOOD ENOUGH

It's second nature for you to think,
That all your gifts and strengths,
Are second best or just so-so,
Nothing special at length,

But you are awesome, you're one of a kind.
There's no one just like you.
Search the world over but you'll never find,
Another just like you.

This poem is so true, we are the first to find fault with ourselves, but God knows we trying our best - I have always said your poems are both wise and inspirational, I love reading them. Well spoken, Judy! Truly each of us is needed and each of us is necessary to fulfill God's plan. I loved this poem. I believe it is incumbent on all of us to accept and cherish God's giftedness to each of us and to nourish those gifts in those around us. Thank you for doing just that!
