Betrayal

in a park i am
everything lovely
flowers in my hand
a new cloth
a new person for you

i am here
where you asked me to be
i am excited
chills running down my spines
my stomach churns with pleasure

you asked me to wait
i am and i will
time passed you never come
may be you will come
that's what i thought

i am waiting
the sky's dark
its cold out here
the wind, too harsh
its hard even to breath but for you

now i am standing
under this monsoon rain
tears from my eyes
my clothes all sodden
but i am still waiting

its dark
i hear birds chirp
yet its so dull
everything i see
i see you in it

my hopes evaporate
my excitement runs away
no butterflies in my stomach
its just this unusual feeling
the feeling of betrayal
