Betrayal

You …the gentle healer...used my vulnerability against me…

My heart bled and bled in front of you…

I cried a thousand tears…

I cried the pain a thousand ways...

I poured out my longings, my secrets…my joys...my darkness…my soul

You listened…you held…you understood…

You listened to my stories of shame…

Or so I thought….

You then abandoned me…left me…cold…heartless…drowning…in my own pool of tears...

I hid it all…I cried silently…silent screams...

I hurt quietly… no one saw…

Then…pain stacked on pain…

You blamed me…

You shamed me…

You let go of me…coldly…cruelly…silently…shamingly…

You dishonored my soul...You sold me for your honor…your reputation…

You labeled me…. you betrayed me…

You betrayed yourself….your profession… your name….

My heart was not worth your time….
