Betray Me

wander about
in your old nightgown
I'll give you a book to read
about yourself
you can carry it up and down the stairs
wailing if you want
like the old british queens you love so much
wander about
carry a candle 
maybe you'll feel real again
when you pretend
that you are not yourself
but that character that you shut yourself up with
online
I know
you betray me
you always have
