Bestowing Kindness
Simple treasures enshrine the heart
bestowing a glee pure with delight;
goodies wrapped in foil thrill the orphans
on a breezy night, sweet lyrics glow…
Merry the friendship when long talks bind
enchanting hours of sweet reveries,
as cheers are shared with honeyed tea
while neighbors join to say hello…
We flock ‘round Grandma’s homemade pies
Then offer tidings for everyone;
beneath a pine’s star glazed by joy
with gift of thanks for blessings’ grace…
Along the blue of bluest night
prayers spill for world unity
when gratitude finds the loving,
the yearning of tender spirits
a promise where kindness resides.
