Bestowed Upon Me

Rolling in circles down hill
My life revolving around a pill
Distraught here alone in my bed
Can’t tell my legs from my head
Sounds of cars driving on the road
What upon me has been bestowed
One day from the next has gone missing
The snakes of my life surround me, hissing
Waiting to strike and inject the poisonous venom
Resulting in my movements to cease and benumb
