Best Wishes on Your New Job Lindsay
Although Serenity Club, doesn't currently exist at Compass Health, in Everett Washington. And Compass Health is located temporarily on Colby Avenue instead of Broadway Avenue. Compass Health will be entering its newly constructed facility on Broadway Avenue at a future date.
This is an interview that I conducted with Lindsay Graham upon her departure from Serenity Club.
She appointed me as News Letter Director because of my former brief experience with journalism at Everett Community College and also because I was both already established as both a poet and a writer. The following question and answer format is her exit interview that I conducted with her.
I wish her all of the best in both her current and any future endeavors in her life and in her carrier.
Question: What was your job title?
Answer: I was the lead clinician in the club house, and I was
the club house clerical leader. I also started the
photography unit, which is part of clerical. My position
was to form a network to get people interested in the
newsletter, and also get people involved in unit positions
too.
Question: What did you like most about your job?
Answer: I like the creativity and the passions that the members
bring to Serenity Club.
Question: What is your new position?
Answer: I will be doing half case management and half drop- in-
center. The drop in hours will be Monday-Friday 8 AM-
10 AM.
Question: What made you decide to change your job?
Answer: Because standard number 15 states," the work order
day must not include Therapy programs within the
club house."
Question: How long have you been married?
Answer: I have been married for more than 11 years.
Question: Do you have any children?
Answer: I have two cats, Mickey and Macy.
Question: How long have you had them as pets?
Answer: Mickey is 2 1/2, and he is very loving, and he
looks like a lion. Macy is 1 1/2 she is a calico,
and she is shy.
Question: Where did you go to school?
Answer: I went to EVCC, and the University of Michigan.
Question: Do you have any closing comments?
Answer: I wish the club house the best of luck, and I still
hope to see everyone.

Sparky, The Harp Seal Started School
On September 2nd
the youngest baby Harp seal,
Sparky started school, and he
is really enjoying it.
He made new
harp seal friends,
and has other harp seals to relate to in
school, Sparky and his class mates are
really learning some fun things such as
games to do. During recess, they get to
play outside by bouncing balls and twirling
them around across their noses. They en-
joy playing the same fun activities at
home. Yes, Sparky really enjoys going to
school, and making new friends there.
Marcia Nickerson is both a talented
writer, as well as good story teller.
She has been entertaining friends
with her series on harp seals for
a long time. She is a very kind and
understanding person, as well as
a good friend.

Q: Do you also work in The Kitchen Unit?
A: "Not very often, but when
they need help with the dishes."
Q: "What are your job duties?"
A: "To sell snacks, coffee, Espresso,
and keep the area clean, and to
keep and inventory list of supplies."
Q: "What days do you work?"
A: "Monday-Saturday 9:30 A.M.
M-11:30 P.M."
Q: "What is your most popular sales item?"
A: "Just regular Folgers' Coffee."
Q: "How can Serenity Club help you achieve
your goals?"
A: "Giving me self-confidence, and having the
resources I need to help find employment,
of if I just need a place to hang out."
During our interview, he took time-out to wait
on Lisa, his customer, who ordered a hot
apple cider, "a good drink."
His hobbies include: going on short walks,
visiting friends, and listening to alternative
rock on his CD player. Jim," Hopes every-
one has a Merry Christmas and a Happy
New Year!"

Ardeen recently held a TE position
as a dishwasher and janitor at the
Alligator Soul Restaurant.
Q: What did you like best about
your restaurant job?"
A: "The vacuuming, money free food
and soda pop."
Q "What did you like best about your
co-workers?"
A: "They treated me with respect except
for the head chief."
Q: "Do you have any future potential
employment opportunities?
A: "I am applying for DVR as a dish
washer, that went through last
week."
Q: "What advice do you have for job
seekers?"
A: "They go to Nancy Clark and she
helps them provide a job or
sign them up with DVR.
Tries to help them develop
some job skills.

Christmas is the season
O peace on earth good
will towards all of man-
kind. Deeds of kindness
can chase away darkness
and sadness. In a world
filled with turmoil and
strife. Christmas tends to
brighten up our days and our
nights. Christmas is wonderfully
cheerful and bright. Christmas is
a time for family and friends to
become reunited again.
