Best Toy For An Imaginative Girl

Tiny package under the tree
Could not be my wish come true
But note inside addressed to me
Leads me to something shiny new

Standing proud in the driveway
The thing I very most desire
A bicycle red finally came my way!
Of this gift I'd never tire

At times this bike would be a horse
Steady gait then galloping free
Nostrils flaring and snorting of course
As I pressed in with my knee

Now the bike's a Harley grand
Eating the highway as we go
Leather seat and steel kickstand
Tires trimmed and built for show

A race car and a speedboat too
Many things this bike became
Like the years it took me through
This bike was never once the same

My bike sometimes sprouted wings and we flew through the skies, Deb. Good luck with this creative entry.
