Best of Me
I feel the love I once had has been sucked out of me
like water from a cloud, I feel nothing
it is not me to hide in the dark with no light to be seen
but I have given you the best of me
what have you given me
I wear my heart on my sleeve & you take advantge
but I won't change, not for you
today I realise
I'm not your fool
& I don't need you like you think
you need me, is what I now see...
