Best Friend and Lover
last night i wept you was not there
i look at the picture on the night stand
and i say damn
damn i was such a fool to be cruel
to not listen and appreciate you
damn lost the best love i ever had
now i am the one that is madd
like you said for me too bad
you remind me of the most beautiful dream
where angels carry me up into the sky
towards the ever glowing light
but now i went and blew it
what a fool then i did not know it
but for my sake i promise to myself
if i ever get you back i am going to clean up my act
for you are my best friend and lover
goodbye for now damn
