Best Friend

It all started almost twelve years ago the planets decided to line, we were all ready acquaintances, but now was finally our time. We found ourselves both single, our parents to be best friends, every time we turned around, a greater presence was forcing his hand. We moved in together pretty early, we were so afraid of what others would say, but to us it just felt right, and hand in hand we joined teams and stayed. We barely had two penny's, financially times were hard, you worked so many odd jobs, to keep a roof over our head and for us not to starve. When we had our daughter, I saw a new side of you, Becoming a Daddy, was so very fitting and deserving of you. You made so many sacrifices, for me to be a stay at home Mom, Ill for eternity be grateful, that your love for us was that strong. What a ride our lives have taken us, what trials and tribulations we've been through, our journey has definitely been a roller coaster, bumpy at times and others smooth. We definitely have been forced to hear the words of our vows, for sickness and in worst, is what we are facing now. You truly are my best friend, Im so Thankful you have stood by me, I know Ive been difficult and stubborn, and for this I owe you and apology. You never cease to amaze me, your devotion, strength, and empathy, you have truly been a role model, for all the world to see. I am so very proud of you, for your own journey you have faced, you yourself went through a issue of your own, a lot of the world unfortunately has had to face. You are a amazing person, the most wonderful man, the Greatest Daddy, and my Very Best Friend.
