Best Friend

I remember the day you were born like it was just last week. You grabbed my littlest finger with your tiny hand and I've never felt more immediate love in my entire life. You are goofy and like to pull my hair. You call me your best friend and sometimes share your favorite crackers with me. You make me want to become someone that you can look up to. You help me have fun and forget my worries. You showed me that children can in fact teach grown ups more than we can teach children.
