Bessie the Cow's New Year Message
Do the crickets in the trees
welcome a breeze
Can a frog on a lily pad
ever be sad
Would a fish choose to swim
if it were molasses he was in
Does a monkey grin
when he thinks of vice & sin
Should a zebra without stripes
just give up on life
And what about a female baboon
Does she bleed if pecked by a loon
Thought you might like to 'ruminate' on all of these
While I bring up dinner - straw and day-old cheese...
