Besiege

I listen to the rain’s soft music
of preludes of notes over deeper night
refreshing the venial air
which kisses the
zenith of my
sidereal heart
your hands besiege
my wax body
painted slowly with
drops of rain
my skin
water flowers
pink snowflakes
purple butterflies
you take the rain
& dress me as your queen,
the solstice kiss
and the silence of breath
