Benign bliss burn
In the amidst of calm and chaos, we sat
Side by side, for the last time
Holding onto the quiet whispers, of where we are at
As we let the moment sublime
We built our castle, as each grain clap
Our laughter in sight, our hands in rhyme
Knowing the tide would wash through that
Yet loving the loss, worth the climb
We watched as the ocean reclaimed our work of heart
By that, it's time for us to part the line
Though the waves might've pulled us apart
Our promise stays to build a sandcastle one more time.
