Benediction

May you ever rest in comfort, may your dreaming bring you peace
May your beauty and your youth never, ever cease
May you climb the farthest mountain, may you bathe in sparkling streams
May you live beside the ocean, may you hear it in your dreams
May you keep your days in wonder, may they keep you free from pain
May the God of lovingkindness touch you with his sweet refrain
May you ever live in freedom and walk in innocence all day
May you have unending comfort when you weep and when you pray
May your days be soft and gracious and your nights be gentle warm
May you live inside the moonlight, may you rise into the dawn
May love caress you always, may the steady darkness flee
May you rest in splendid silence, may you live completely free
May you wake to angels lifting you up into the light
May you hear the song of songs singing ever through your night
May you feel love falling across your shoulders soft and still
May the strength of tides surge up in you until your senses fill
May words of silence release you from all pain
May soft living thunder silence angry rain
May kindness and remembrance erase sorrow and all blight
May your mind be easy, may your your face be bathed in light
May the gentle kiss of sunlight rest patient on your soul
May your throat be filled with music all tender, sweet and whole
May you always and forever dwell in blessed days,
May life kiss you with remembrance, may it fill your heart with praise
May you always be aware of the wondrous light you bring
May your eyes sparkle brightly, may you always want to sing
May you recognize the magic and the beauty that you do
May you finally glimpse the wonder and the miracle of you.
