Beneath the Pillow Case

Where, where were you?
Hiding? Contemplating, Disruption
Misunderstood she looked
But, found nothing but regret
Cornered by his lies
Lies saving lies
Invisible
Words hidden
Under her
Satin
Pillow
Case
As she continued to chase
His ghost in the midst of what she thought was almost love
Does he even want to be with me, does he even appreciate me?
Does he even see me the way I see he, the way I feel free, or to him is this all dumb
p.s. words that never sleep as a result neither did she…
