Beneath My Skin

BENEATH MY SKIN And I… am as high as the nimbus clouds floating aloft And I... am as low as the morning fogs whispering mist And I… am as light as buoyant bubbles reflecting hues And I… am as heavy as marbled granites mottled mould And I… am as small as oceans sand specs shifting unseen And I… am as big as majestic mountains regal repose And I… am as sad as the mourning graves empty tomb And I…. am as happy as a child who plays self assured And I … am as precious as crowned jewels God’s child BENEATH MY SKIN Copyright© Kim van Breda—12 October 2014

God's child. It defines us. What a lovely read, Kim. The form is pleasing to the eyes. The substance is pleasing to my spirit. a 7. I see that you used to be regular. Welcome back! So nice to meet you! :-)

LOVE the way you start each verse with: "And I"... You've covered it all here Kim and the last verse? WOW...Beneath Your Skin also beats the heart of a beautiful, intelligent and VERY talented lady. What a combination...
