Beneath Gentle Grace
When you’re feeling sad and lonely
And nothing seems quite right
Turn your heart toward God’s heaven
And look at the lavender sky
When you’re feeling shy and gloomy
And the world seems to be so down
Say a little prayer of protection
So your heart can find its direction
When you’re feeling lost and worried
And nothing feels quite right
Listen to your inner voice
And whisper “yes” to God’s love
When you’re feeling sorrow and regret
And life brings you nothing but shame
Think of all you have to be thankful for
And hide your thoughts beneath gentle grace
Listen to the heart and soul
Who always seems to hear and know
That within your spirit there is hope
And joy that brings true peace which grows
more serene and loving as time goes by
